    The board of the Foundation Fablab.nl consists of the following members:

    Ella Wahab-Hueting (Chair)

    Ella studied law at the University of Amsterdam, and after a short career as a lawyer, she became a professor at HAN-University in Arnhem. After several years teaching law, she worked as a manager at the department of computer science and later as dean at the Faculty of Engineering. Currently she is Managing Director of ArtEZ School of Music. She has always been involved in developing new curricula at the intersection of different disciplines. LinkedIn

    Keimpe de Heer (Treasurer)

     

     

     

     

    Keimpe has extensive experience with research and innovation in education sectors, culture, arts and the Dutch creative industry. Keimpe worked as project manager, policy advisor and programme manager in the public sector. Currently Keimpe works as director Creative Learning Lab of Waag Society. In addition to his work for the Waag Society, his company Extelligentsia seeks to develop new concepts by forging interdisciplinary links between various fields to knowledge. LinkedIn

    Iris Douma  (Secretary)

    Iris studied Interaction Design at the Utrecht School of the Arts and graduated with an European Media Master of Art. She developed interactive installations for art education on primary schools and events. She also worked as a project manager for the mediaLAB at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. She has experience in innovative new media projects for and by all ages. Now she develops workshops with interactive media at www.cabind.nl. LinkedIn

    Peter Troxler (Assessor)

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Peter is an independent researcher at the intersection of business administration, society and technology.
    Currently, his main focus is investigating and developing business models for open source anything – design, hardware, inventions – and the corresponding formats and ecologies of innovation and co-creation.
    He is particularly interested in studying the impact of open source, distributed personal digital fabrication on mainstream manufacturing business — this is also the topic of his professorship at Hogeschool Rotterdam. LinkedIn

    Bart Bakker (Catalyst)

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Bart has a long background in Innovations Management, Technology Assessment and Usability.
    He was involved in the start of Waag Society and in the very first fablab in Holland during the ‘El Hema’ exhibition in 2007.
    Bart is actively promoting the concept of fablab and  – with miniFabLab  – exploring low-cost equipment for fablabs.   LinkedIn

    Frits Hoff  (Assessor)

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Frits is managing director of FabLab Zuid-Limburg (Maastricht, the Netherlands).
    He is involved with FabLabs since 2009 and now an international consultant in starting and managing a FabLab. Frits is also manager at the foundation Openwijs.nl, specialized in open innovation, open hardware, open source software and OLPC (One Laptop Per Child). LinkedIn
